UNIVERSITY OF LAUSANNE - Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in MIS and Digital Innovation

HEC Lausanne (the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne) looks for candidates for a position full time as Assistant Professor (Tenure Track as Associate Professor) in Management Information Systems and Digital Innovation, starting on February 1st, 2024 or on a mutually agreed date.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Information Systems or a related discipline. They should have an excellent and promising research and publication record in the field of Management Information Systems (MIS) with a clear interest in topics around digital innovation and related topics (e.g., design of new and improved products/processes/services through digital technologies, digital innovation methods, digital entrepreneurship) as well as their practical applications. We seek applicants with a proven ability to conduct top research in the field, to publish in leading international IS journals and conferences and the capacity to attract research funds.

In line with the strategy of the faculty, preference will be given to candidates who do research on topics connected to digital innovation and have teaching experience with MIS courses on Bachelor and Master level. Successful candidates will be expected to be able to teach in French and English after two years. All research methods are welcome but experience with qualitative and design sciences research methods is strongly appreciated.
