Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in Information Systems or a related area.
The level of appointment (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) is open, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Following ESSEC’s wider strategy, we are particularly interested in profiles with demonstrated expertise in the areas of digital entrepreneurship or IS sustainability/responsibility. Responsibilities of the positions include research in the candidate's area of expertise and teaching courses on IS management, digital transformation, digital business, or other contemporary topics. The IDS department proposes a wide range of electives, and regularly updates its course catalogue to reflect the evolutions of the field.
ESSEC's teaching and business languages are English and French. Prior knowledge of French is not required and the school provides French courses to non-French speaking faculty. There is no requirement for international faculty to teach in French.
