The University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, invites applications for a position of

Full Professor of Information Systems Management

Job description: The successful candidate will teach various courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels at the Faculty of Economics and Business. The teaching commitment amounts to 7 periods of 45 minutes per week each semester. She/he will conduct high-level internationally-recognized research and supervise Master’s and PhD theses. She/he proves an interest in industry 4.0, particularly in the process of digital transformation of organizations and the management of information. Her/his research focuses on the new challenges faced by the public and private sectors in integrating new technologies into digital ecosystems.

Requirements: Applicants must hold a doctorate in management or in a closely related field and have strong teaching skills. She/he should be either a specialist in IT with excellent understanding and experience in application of data and digital technology for manufacturing processes (possibly more broadly operations management) or a specialist in manufacturing/operations management with excellent understanding of IT requirements. Courses will be taught in French and English. Non-French speakers are expected to teach in French after a two-year period.

Starting date: September 1st, 2018 or upon agreement.
